How to be Consistent
How to be consistent and enjoy it in four easy steps. Consistency is something that we are all challenged with from time to time, yet these four steps always help me get back on track, in a nourishing and loving way.
I would also like you to take a moment and thank yourself for wanting to show up for your own growth. Consistency is not about being perfect every day. It is about creating a rhythm you can return to, even when life gets full, messy, or unpredictable.
1. Choose one clear thing
Start with one habit, one goal, or one area of your life that matters right now. When everything is a priority, your nervous system can feel overwhelmed before you even begin. Give yourself the kindness of focus.
2. Make it small enough to keep
Consistency becomes easier when the step is simple and repeatable. Instead of asking yourself to transform everything at once, choose a small action you can realistically do on a normal day. Small promises kept build self-trust.
3. Create a supportive structure
Put the action somewhere visible in your day. Add it to your calendar, pair it with an existing routine, or write it down somewhere you will see it. Structure helps you rely less on motivation and more on a gentle system.
4. Reset with compassion
If you miss a day, try not to turn it into a story about who you are. Missing one step does not erase your progress. Take a breath, reconnect with why this matters, and begin again with love.
Consistency is not punishment. It is a loving practice of returning to yourself.
